More than tacos are cooking at los Milagros Taqueria as things heat up in the lives of the taqueria's young workers. Marisol is struggling for a better life for her and her family while being undocumented; Raymundo is beat with the love stick and sneaking around with the boss's daughter and Cisco can not seem to keep himself off the streets and get to work on time.
Influenced and related to the Dream Act, Fronteras del Amor is a project of Teatro American and Latinos Progressando.
Teatro American uses theater to inspire and educate actors and audiences alike, and to foster dialogue about critical but often unaddressed issues in the Latino community. The group performs at local festivals, at community spaces and has traveled by invitation to Mexico to perform and offer theater workshops to students and community.
