Pilsen is blessed with many, many murals, providing inspiration, beauty and education to anyone who passes by. Since early July, a new blog, Zona de Arte, gives readers an inside, personalized connection to this outdoor art.

Zona de Arte is a good place to check—it's updated regularly with photos, information about murals' history and artists, and ideas and opinions about the murals and what they mean.
Four youth working with Pros Arts Studio on a project to protect the Pilsen's murals from the ravages of time and Chicago's weather—Adrian, Jone, Mike and Yanira—are the authors at the site. Take a peek at the site's "About" page to learn about their stories and their heartfelt, interesting insight into how they connect with Pilsen and with the murals.
