Working Bikes Sending 500 Bicycles to El Salvador!

Salvadorian women work on bikes.

Saturday July 10th, Working Bikes Cooperative will be sending 500 bicycles to El Salvador. The bikes will be sent to the Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation (SAHF). SAHF supports programs in Human Development, Health, Education, Nutrition, Housing and Disaster Relief Aid implemented by its in-country sister Foundation, FUSAL, which together with other organizations work to improve the quality of life of the Salvadoran people, especially the most vulnerable, by making use of their potential and strengthening their communities.

Volunteers are needed July 10th to help prep and pack the bicycles. Interested volunteers are asked to arrive at Working Bikes (2434 S. Western Ave.) at 10am. The shipping party will last until 2pm.
