In 2009, ACCION Chicago disbursed 170 loans and provided technical assistance to over 2,000 entrepreneurs. Small business owners have been hit hard by the recession, as banks pull back from lending.
ACCION Chicago is proud to take a lead role in helping to fill this gap. A generous grant from the EDA Recovery Act and the City of Chicago will help us reach even more entrepreneurs in the Chicagoland area in 2010.
