Mission statement
Pilsen neighborhood organizations, residents, artists, and business owners are working together to create this window into our community. The Pilsen Planning Committee created the portal as one step among many that will make our neighborhood a "Digital Excellence" community, meaning that we use the web and other digital tools to support our families, businesses and institutions — to build a stronger community. The portal is a work in progress, but we envision it as a place where residents and others can learn about the neighborhood, plug into local resources and share the Pilsen experience. This site is managed by the Resurrection Project (www.resurrectionproject.org), through a partnership with LISC Chicago (www.lisc-chicago.org).
