I'm Lisandra, velo lover, bike enthusiast, creative cutter of busted bicycle inner tubes. I make weekly visits to local Pilsen bike shops and re-purpose my finds into unique and fun jewelry for everyone to enjoy.
My designs mix urban and elegant, modern and earthy, intricate and simple, resulting in one of a kind creations that promote bike culture and kindness to mother earth.
I call Pilsen, Chicago my home. I have a deep love for this community because the colorful hustle and bustle, arts, and culture of this vibrant neighborhood are the inspiration for my work.
My son Onix Sequoia and I, love riding our bikes through Pilsen whether we are visiting its beautiful museums, admiring its amazing murals on a
Pilsen Bike Tour, or participating in our community art and ceramics classes at Pros Arts Studios.
Our favorite monthly adventure is to jump on a rickshaw and join in the monthly Critical Mass ride to promote bicycle awareness on our streets.
