On October 13, 2009, Martha Gonzalez, a 36 year old mother of two, was killed in a hit-and-run incident. Neither the person(s) nor vehicle involved has been apprehended.
The Martha Gonzalez Memorial Committee (MGMC), which is set up by family and friends of the victim, is working with artists to honor Martha Gonzalez’ memory with an Art Exhibit Tour entitled “MGLEZ” in conjunction with her birthday (6/14/1973). She would have been 37 years old. The Tour will begin at Fogata, and remain on display until August where it will move to Kristoffer’s Café and remain there for several months. More locations are expected but not confirmed. We hope to have the MGLEZ Tour last until the anniversary of her death (10/13/09).
