The X-Mass holidays are always a time for family to get together and is the favorite holiday for mostly everyone especially for the children. It has been a tradition to attend Las Mañanitas to serenate our Lady of Guadalupe on the morning of the 12th of December. Providence of God will be hosting the Mañanitas on Saturday at 4:30 AM and than parishoners will enjoy pozole, mexican bread, canela, ponche, raffles and many other goodies, join us. Providence of God corners of 18th St. and Union. Looking forward to Las Posadas in Pilsen. May everyone have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Novena of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12 is a special day in the life of our parish. We prepare for the feast with nine days of prayer. The Guadalupe Novena begins on Thursday, December 3 and continues for nine consecutive evenings, through December 11.

Fr. Felipe Rojas Tlachi, C.Ss.R., a priest currently serving a parish in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, has joined us for the novena. Each evening of the novena he will be available to hear confessions at 6:00 p.m., followed by the rosary at 6:30 p.m. and the celebration of Mass at 7:00 p.m.

All are welcome to participate!

we are coming in from Omaha, Nebraska to join in the Pilsen Posada Celebration. Please tell us where the mass will be held honoring Nuestra Senora de guadalupe the morning of the 12th of December.
